USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER with Roundarch in NY

UE Designers work with Sr. UE Designers and Experience Leads to assist with the various UE activities and deliverables that drive meaningful interactive experiences. Your past experience with activities and deliverables associated with user centered design allows you to add value to consumer, transactional and corporate web initiatives. Participating in research, persona development, scenario modeling, concepts, annotated wireframes, interactive models, and functional specifications with senior UE team members assists with career progression. You will be exposed to web 2.0 paradigms and methodologies that will transform linear UE thinking into a multidimensional experience.

Responsibilities

Participate in user research, contextual and ethnographic studies, participatory design and usability testing
Develop competitive assessments and perform site heuristic reviews
Participate in the production of personas, scenarios and process flows
Develop annotated wireframes and functional design specifications

Required Experience

At least two years of user interface design experience
Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to web-based applications
Excellent communication, organization and team interaction skills
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Visio, InDesign, and Dreamweaver
Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of web technologies such as CMS, HTML, JavaScript, Flash, and CSS

Strongly Desired Experience:

Degree in Human-Computer Interaction or a related design or behavioral science discipline
Experience with web 2.0 and rich internet concepts and delivery methodologies
